A Dozen Herbs to Grow in Your Backyard
at Northwood School

This free presentation we will discuss a dozen herbs that can easily be grown in our Wisconsin climate, go over techniques on how to grow and maintain herbs and most importantly talk about what to do with them once you have them. We will also cover some of the fun and colorful folklore of the herbs. Come with your herb questions and let’s get gardening!  Presented by Kathryn Schiedermayer, a Master Gardener Volunteer.  She has taught herb and gardening classes throughout the Midwest and has presented at the Wisconsin Public Television Garden Expo.  Kathryn and her husband Marvin live and garden in Springbrook.
