The Town of Chicog was founded in 1902 and has approximately 330 full-time residents. It is located in Washburn County in northwestern Wisconsin and offers many recreational opportunities. The Namakagon River flows through the center of Chicog and offers many opportunities for canoeing, tubing, and camping. Numerous lakes and wooded areas provide opportunities for fishing, hunting, hiking, camping, snowmobiling, four wheeling and other outdoor activities.
