Taste of Washburn County Gala 2020

Washburn County Tourism Association is proud to present the 2nd Annual Taste of Washburn County Gala
at Heartwood in Trego on Thursday, January 23rd, 2020.
The Gala is limited to the first 200 ticket holders and is on track to be a wonderful evening!
Doors will open at 5:00 p.m. and you will get to experience different samplings of food from restaurants all over the county.
There will also be live music to sit back and enjoy.

Tickets can be purchased at the Washburn County Visitor Center in Spooner (located next to McDonald’s).
Current hours for the Visitor Center are Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Saturday’s 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

This event will be used as a fundraiser for Washburn County Tourism Association
to assist in the destination marketing efforts of the area, as well as assisting in funding 1-2 tourism related projects.

2020 Beneficiary Projects

Rails on Trails - City Park Trail Signage:
The project will included mapping the trails, creating maps/postings out on course, as well as marking trails with locations & distances.
The large sign board located at the trail head in City Park will also be updated.

Rolling Hills Snowmobile & ATV Club - Information Kiosks:
The dollars raised from this event will go towards replacing & expanding the number of information kiosks throughout the county to provide proper info to trail users.
Three of the current kiosks will be replaced with a goal of adding 8 additional kiosks at strategic intersections.
