Come join the Junior Naturalists program to learn about the world around you!
Each afternoon will be filled with exploring nature and learning about a specific part of it – be that bugs, animals or plants.
We will take hikes, create art projects and more!
Day 1 – Animal Adaptations
There are many animals that live here – mammals, birds, amphibians.
We’ll learn about different adaptations that they have to survive and explore a pond.
Day 2 – Plants
Ever wonder why it’s so green in the summer? We’ll learn how plants grow, making their own food.
We’ll also learn how people can use plants that we find right here in Minong!
Day 3 – Bugs
Though they are small, there are lots of bugs in the world.
We will learn some pretty neat things insects do to survive in a world that doesn’t always like them.
This class will be outside. Please dress weather appropriate.
